Magicall is a project by Symbolic Software, a Paris-based applied cryptography consultancy with deep expertise in building and auditing secure systems.

Why we built this

Video calling should be simple and secure. But most tools are either bloated with features nobody asked for, or they treat your data as a product to be harvested.

We wanted something different: a video call tool that's dead simple to use, doesn't require downloads, and is actually secure by design—not just by policy.

Magicall uses end-to-end encryption (SRTP) so your calls are mathematically protected. We can't see your video. We can't hear your audio. Nobody intercepting the traffic can either.

True Privacy

We don't collect call content, metadata, or behavioral data. Your room, your privacy.

Creator of Verifpal and Noise Explorer, widely-used tools for formal verification of cryptographic protocols. His work has been published at IEEE S&P, USENIX Security, and other top venues.
